A more somber and reserved nose grudgingly displays a layered blend of both red and dark berries along with whiffs of violet and anise. The attractively textured, punch and well-detailed flavors terminate in a youthfully austere, balanced and sneaky long finale. Drink: 2024+

"all below the 1ers crus, but close to them and covering the appellation from north to south. Fairly deep pink purple. The nose is quite reticent, but there is plenty there underneath. Some elegance despite the punchy modern style. Very good medium deep raspberry, clean and pure. (Dec 2020)"

The Volnay VV is a bigger, more exuberant, and sexier wine. Yes, it’s not from the coolest of years, but it still has a silky, sensual feel. Very old vines (the oldest planted in 1932) give a sumptuous, rich mid-palate. This is a gorgeous expression of the Volnay appellation, and in the 2019 vintage is simply a treat.

Domaine Geogres Glantenay位於金丘Volnay村，由Pierre Glantenay於1893年成立，一直都是家族經營，現已是第四代的Guillaune和Sarah這對兄妹接手。酒莊擁有8公頃，這些葡萄園分布在Volnay、Pommard、Monthelie、Meursault和Chambolle Musigny五個村內，那他們十分重視風土條件對於葡萄酒品質的影響，酒莊認為在他們現有的風土條件下，絕對可以表現出Volnay的優雅精巧，有帶有Pommard的複雜和層次感。
