Vietti 酒莊是 Piedmont 地區的頂級酒莊之一，也是 Barolo 葡萄酒最具代表的酒莊之一，率先提出單一葡萄園的理念，所釀製的單一葡萄園 Barolo 備受矚目，前一代莊主，同時也是首席釀酒師 Alfredo Currado 同時被稱作“ Arneis 葡萄之父”，他因為挽救了 Arneis 這個葡萄品種而倍受尊重。 1974 年開始至今不斷更新的 “藝術家酒標”，更是賦予 Vietti 葡萄酒濃厚的藝術氣息。

Vietti 家族的經商淵源可以追溯自 18 世紀，當時 Carlo Vietti 創立了 Vietti 家族企業。 Carlo 的兒子 Mario Vietti ，於 1919 年在 Piemonte 地區 Cuneo 省的 Castiglione Falletto 地區〈主要種植用以釀造 Barolo 葡萄酒的 Nebbiolo 葡萄〉，開始釀造第一批 Vietti 葡萄酒，酒莊自此開始登上葡萄酒舞台。從那時起， Vietti 酒莊便專注於釀造能夠反映當地獨特風土人文的優質葡萄酒。

Mario Vietti 的女兒 Luciana Vietti 和丈夫 Alfredo Currado 兩人，將 Vietti 酒莊帶上 Piedmont 地區頂級酒莊的道路，並且成為義大利最早出口美國的酒莊之一。 Alfredo 是Piedmont 地區最早提出釀製單一葡萄園 Barolo 葡萄酒的概念，並身體力行的先驅之一。在幾十年前的 Barolo 產區，可說是一個非常先進的理念，如今單一葡萄園的釀造方式已在 Barolo 和 Barbaresco 產區成為風潮。
