Intense ruby red, with sweet aromas of ripe berries, such as strawberries and raspberries, enriched with notes of tobacco, earth and cinchona. Full and intense taste marked by a promising tannin. It is enveloping and full-bodied. Persistent, fruity and mineral finish.

A pure expression of Sangiovese, the Tenuta Ghiaccio Forte 2019 Morellino di Scansano Ghiaccio Forte is warm and earthy, with the dark fruit concentration that you should expect of this vintage. The 2019 growing season favors powerful and texturally rich wines, and this expression is endowed with black cherry, blackberry, spice, tar and lightly toasted tobacco. The presentation is simple and clean, but ultimately you get terrific value at this affordable price point.
