Unlike most wines in this category, Lucien Le Moine’s Bourgogne Blanc is sourced from village vineyards in the Côte D’Or, resulting in a serious, richly-nuanced wine. The nose offers notes of spice, flowers, and earth, with a hint of gunflint. The flavors are rich and complex, showing yellow fruits enhanced by a savory, leesy note from the extended barrel-aging. We recommend decanting it 30 minutes ahead – yes, even for a white wine! This is a brilliant Bourgogne Blanc at the quality level of a fine Villages white from the Côte de Beaune.
