俗語有云‘’十年磨一劍‘’，但要將Barolo做得極致，可能要幾個十年。自1989年現任莊主Claudio Fenocchio 接替父親 Giacomo 成為第5代莊主後，便著力以單一田的理念深耕每一塊田，深受歐洲餐廳歡迎，近年才開始做多左出口，酒友才有機會認識，2014年The New York Times rated Fenocchio in second position in a tasting of 2010 Barolos – coming behind only Elio Altare and ahead of Elio Grasso, Massolino, and Vietti.

Aromas of underbrush, tobacco, sunbaked earth and mature black-skinned fruit lead the nose on this fantastic, firmly structured red. On the concentrated palate, notes of licorice, graphite and clove add depth to the core of mature black cherry. Drink 2019–2024.

The Giacomo Fenocchio 2012 Barolo Bussia is a spicy and perfumed wine that shows the heat of the vintage. You can feel the fruit ripeness, especially on the bouquet. Spice, leather and tobacco are followed by pressed flower, dried cherry and licorice. The wine delivers lots of clove, black pepper and spice on the finish. Drink 2017–2028.
