Domaine Gautheron Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre 2021

The Montée de Tonnerre has been made in an egg where it still resides, unracked. This has not fallen clear and I don’t see much nose at the moment. Then a few floral notes appear. Evidently more flesh and less chiselled than Vaillons or Montmains.

*One of the most spectacular Premier Crus of Chablis with lots of fossilized outcrops.*  The slopes are southwest oriented and are simply separated from the Grand Cru Les Blanchots by a narrow ravine.  Montée de Tonnerre is famous for its subtle mix of finesse and intensity. Pure and intense with salty, mineral sharpness.

要講Chablis，各大酒莊如Vincent Dauvissat，Rene Raveneau，JP Benoit Droin 和William Fevre 大家可能都飲過，不過價錢擺係度，質數唔使點懷疑。不夠宜家飲酒唔講性價比，又確實同荷包過唔去😂！三月店長係Burgundy發現一間十分低調、超過200年歷史的Chablis酒莊Domaine Gautheron，目前由第7代Cyril Gautheron 打理。因從不主動參加評分，所以甚少曝光率。Cyril係2000年開始參與酒莊工作，09年開始有機耕種，將品質大大提升，目前把80％出口，減低為50％，注重內銷知名餐廳酒店，逐漸提升知名度。
店長試過以下幾款酒，質數拍得住William Fevre的香氣酸度礦物感，而且酒體好有張力。
