The 2017 Côte de Nuits Village Clos du Chapeau, made with 14% whole clusters and matured in 30% new oak, has a vibrant red cherry and crushed strawberry bouquet with touches of sous-bois. The palate is smooth on the entry, with crisp tannin and a touch of brusqueness, but it all melds together on the black-tea-infused finish. Give this 18-24 months in bottle.

The 2017 is a pretty and vivid expression of this site, brimming with joyful, tangy red cherry fruit and spice,but with lovely, seductive flesh as well.The nose is still throwing some oak spice but the palate is oh-so-pure. It will age but is already a lovely drink. In the context of today’s Burgundy, it’s a bargain.

2003年起，全面採行生物動力法，釀造的葡萄酒以紅酒為主，風格輕巧，均衡細緻，知名葡萄酒評家Jasper Morris認為酒莊的酒款「平衡性良好，顏色清淡但風味濃郁。」

Domaine de l'Arlot是夜丘地區中的知名酒莊，總部位於Nuits Saint-Georges村南部，擁有Clos de Forets Saint-Georges和Clos de l'Arlot兩片知名的獨佔一級園。根據官網資料顯示，Clos de l'Arlot的歷史可以追溯到18世紀。1987年，酒莊出售給保險業巨頭安盛集團旗下的法國安盛酒業AXA Millésimes，AXA Millésimes擁有Château Pichon-Longueville Baron，也是全球重要的葡萄酒集團之一。AXA入主之後，在1991年又買下位於Romanée-Saint-Vivant特級園中約0.25公頃的地塊，1992年又買下了位於Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots一級園的葡萄園。

酒莊的近代史以Jean-Pierre de Smet為核心，在酒莊擔任釀酒師將近20年。Jasper Morris指出，Jean-Pierre de Smet是會計師出身，不過他也是Jacques Seysses多年的朋友與門徒，因此酒莊的風格受到Domaine Dujac大量影響。2007年1月，Jean-Pierre de Smet將執掌多年的位置交給Christian Seely，之後分別由Olivier Leriche、Jacques Devauges接手，2014年9月，酒莊聘請來自布根地的微生物學家與葡萄酒學家Géraldine Godot接任技術總監。
