The 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers soars from the glass with an exotic bouquet of red berries, plums, Indian spices and musk, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and muscular palate that displays both notable sweetness of fruit and considerable back-end grip. This is a rich, powerful Pruliers that will need some time.

"There is a very mild touch of reduction that pushes the fruit to the background though the pungent earth character is still visible. There is more size, weight and power to the middle weight plus flavors that possess fine intensity on the moderately rustic finish that delivers excellent depth and persistence."
