This is intense from beginning to end, with earth and vegetal accents boosting the core flavors of black currant, blackberry and violet. Combines elegance with power, while an underlying mineral note builds to the long aftertaste. Terrific balance and length. Best from 2025 through 2045.

Once again the nose is quite restrained while remaining wonderfully elegant and even more floral with its cool and admirablypure aromas of pomegranate, cherry, spiced tea and plenty of violet and lavender nuances. There is outstanding intensity, infact it’s presently almost painful, to the pungently mineral-driven middle weight flavors that display terrific persistence on theyouthfully austere and equally chiseled finish. This is impressive though note well that it’s very compact and a wine that willrequire extended patience.

93 pts Vinous:

showed just a touch of reduction when I tasted it. Itgradually opens to offer red currant, raspberry pastille and rose petal aromas and a slight metallic note that will disappearby the time of bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and quite forward. Clean dark berry fruit islaced with brown spices toward a finish that fans out nicely. This should drink well for 15–20 years.
