Ultra-fresh and bright aromas include those of citrus, green apple and discreet spice elements. The racy and beautifully delineated middleweight flavors exhibit ample minerality on the bone-dry, delicious and crunchy finale where a touch of youthful austerity slowly emerges. One to two years of bottle age should see this well-made effort at its best.

Bottled in April with the red 2020s, vinified in stainless steel. Even in 2021 there should be plenty of wine as this is a 2 hectare holding. 95% comes from Villers-Lafaye in the Hautes Côtes, mostly from vines planted in 1945 and 1948, and a touch from Nuits-St-Georges.Classic Aligoté on the nose, fresh apple, citrus, greengage. Medium bodied, quite forward. Correct acidity without being trenchant, fine long finish, delicious in an uncomplicated yet still quite nuanced style. Drink from 2024-2026.
