At 8 years old, it is beginning to show secondary notes of gunflint, crushed stone, almond, and petrol, all while retaining youthful aromas of blossoms and exotic fruit.

科西嘉島是拿破崙出生地，數百年來歷經意大利人統治，直到18世紀拿破崙出生那一年才歸屬於法國，它從未因葡萄酒而知名，大家提到科西嘉就只會聯想到拿破崙。事實上，科西嘉島的葡萄品種非常多樣，有許多原生品種都是科西嘉島獨一無二的，近年來科西嘉的葡萄酒已在歐美市場打開了知名度。

科西嘉島 極度多山，擁有二十座以上高過2000米高峰，平均海拔更高達586米。加上一年近三千小時的充沛日照，以及冷熱交加的風，與島上多半來自意大利和周圍地中海區域的各種葡萄品種，碰撞出全新的未知風味。

Canarelli，則是在島上被譽為「葡萄酒燈塔」的頂尖自然派生產者，也是法國權威葡萄酒雜誌La Revue du Vin de France（簡稱LRVF）"最佳法國酒指南"上，僅次於三星如DRC、Leroy、Leflaive等的二星級酒廠。

自從1993年Yves Canarelli接掌酒廠以來，呢位曾經的經濟系高材生，帶頭振興了好多科西嘉當地品種，以有機種植、自然動力農法，係葡萄園和酒窖中都以最少干預的方式，不添加酵母、不過濾，做出在該區難以比擬的濃郁、複雜的酒款。

係酒款主要以紅酒為主的科西嘉，白酒產量相對稀少。呢款以種植在花崗岩土壤的Vermentino 釀成的白酒，除咗迷人優雅的香草風味外，仲有輕盈的白花芬芳，梨子等白色水果香氣，輕盈優雅，以及帶有杏仁，礦物感，陳年後的2017年，更有絲絲petrol氣味 ，係科西嘉獨有的味道。
