Vin de Constance, Klein Constantia 2018 (500ml)

其實自17世紀末在不少人的遊記裡就提到過南非出產的Constantia甜酒，但是到18世紀尾Constantia的熱潮才爆發出來，在19世紀初期歐洲皇室把他視在Yquem, Tokay 和 Madeira之上，國王們個個想盡辦法取得，法國國王Louis Philippe曾經派專使特地去把酒運回，拿破崙在最失意時在St. Helena 島上喝的也是Constantia，德國的Frederick the Great 和 Bismarck 和英國國王總理們也都是Constantia的愛好者。不僅如此，英國有名的作家Charles Dickens 和 Jane Austen， 德國詩人Klopstock 到法國詩人Baudelaire都曾經在他們的作品裡讚賞過這一款酒。而Baudelaire 經過Constantia時，拐彎抹角引用了選自《惡之花》（Les Fleurs du Mal 1857年）裡面的一首詩歌《無法滿足的慾望》（Sed non Satiata）中的一句詩來褒獎它：“我偏愛堅貞不渝、鴉片、夜晚、你口中的仙丹妙藥（指酒），那裡的愛情神氣活現”。

在”Description generale et particuliere du duche de Bourgogne” 書裡提到 ‘奇怪的是這種從開普(南非開普敦地區)取來的葡萄藤母株種在伯恩區(法國勃根地地區)與鄰近葡萄園生長都不理想，只有在開普才生長茂盛。Dauphin (法國皇太子) 和 Prince de Conti (Romanee Conti的早期持有者)詢問M.Brunet of Paris原因，他的回答是他們沒有辦法把陽光跟泥土一起運回來',如此可見當時在歐洲有多少人想要複製Constantia。

Tasting Notes from Winemaker：顏色呈明亮的金黃色，有果醬和肉荳蔻的香氣，口感非常新鮮甜美，豐富飽滿，有著很好的酸度，讓這款酒非常平衡，收尾很長又有活力。
