莊主兼釀酒師Susana Balbo 除了身為阿根廷第一位女性釀酒師，更在2012年受《Drink Business》評選為「最具影響力的女性釀酒師」。她的影響力有多大？大到她是阿根廷第一位受到歐洲酒廠聘用，作為顧問來提升當地酒質的釀酒師！能讓舊世界低頭請教的硬實力，絕對不容小覷。

經手工採收後，100%除梗釀造，並延長發酵至30天。發酵期間，每日淋汁（remontage）三次，溫和萃取更多風味與單寧。發酵後的酒液，注入全新橡木桶培養14個月後，始裝瓶上市。

Gualtallary區域的沖積壤層，使土質蘊含豐富的養份。璀璨深沉的紅寶石酒色，散發獨特的花芬、土壤、胡椒與礦物香氣，口感中的單寧，質地非常細緻，綿延直至尾韻。

"Susana Balbo's 2019 BenMarco Expresivo is 82% Malbec combined with 18% Cabernet Franc, both from the Uco Valley and was 70% aged in new barrels and the rest in used for 14 months. An intense purple in hue, the precise aromas include plum and blackcurrant with herbal notes and hints of jalapeño over a delicate bed of oak. In the mouth, it’s compact but juicy with a medium body and long-lasting, fruity flavor in which the finely grained tannins take charge to define a texture that stays delicate in spite of the overall vigor. A modern wine best left for at least a year."
