Glowing mid purple. A ripely rumbustious deep cherry and ripe raspberry bouquet, but avoiding any sloppiness, with once again an excellent natural acidity behind which adds an agreeable crunchiness and keeps the fruit more red than black. The ripeness has been intelligently tamed.

A mentholated top note is present on the more deeply pitched nose of poached plum, violet, and discreet hints of fennel and cinnamon. There is excellent verve to the utterly delicious flavors that exude a highly attractive inner mouth perfumed before culminating in a chiseled, youthfully austere, and bitter cherry pit-inflected finale. Lovely.

Volnay村位於Pommard村與Meursault村之間，只生產Pino Noir紅酒，於1937年成立AOC，由於特殊的風土條件，土壤中含有較多的石塊和石灰質，造就了優雅柔順、絲絨般單寧的產區風格，也被譽為是伯恩丘的Chambolle-Musigny，村內雖然沒有特級園，卻擁有許多品質優異的一級園，讓人在年輕時飲用，可以嘗到更新鮮、多汁的葡萄佳釀。

Domaine de la Pousse d'Or，人稱為金芽酒莊，雖然金芽酒莊的現代酒窖對於布根地而言相對年輕，但是整個莊園擁有相當悠久的歷史，更曾是布根地公爵所擁有的酒莊，這裡的基礎可以至少追溯到16世紀，而標誌性的總部─Château de Volnay則可以追溯到19世紀。酒莊位於Volnay村，原本與DRC、Clos de Tart同屬於Duvault Blochet家族，之後輾轉易手多次。

1964年，布根地著名釀酒師Gérard Potel聯合Ferté和Seysses家族一起收購葡萄園與酒莊，正式設立Domaine de la Pousse d'Or，寫下酒莊現代歷史，然而Gérard Potel不幸因心臟病逝世，擁有Domaine Dujac的Seysses家族最終也將持有的股份賣給澳洲投資者。1997年，由關注這裡多時的Patrick Landanger買下酒莊，成為唯一的擁有者；1999年開始自行釀造。

Patrick Landanger大量翻新酒莊的釀酒設施與酒窖，2013年，兒子Benoît加入釀酒行列，到了2018年，酒莊正式交由Benoît管理。

酒莊目前擁有超過17公頃的葡萄園，包含7個特級園及12個一級園，分布於Morey-Saint-Denis、Chambolle Musigny、Corton、Pommard、Volnay、Puligny Montrachet和Santenay等地。酒莊在Volnay村中有三個風土極佳的獨佔園，分別是Clos des 60 Ouvrées、Clos d’Audignac以及Clos de la Bousse d'Or，其中Clos des 60 Ouvrées更被認為是全村最佳的葡萄園。此外，酒莊在2009年添購了超級一級園Les Amoureuses愛侶園的地塊。
