布根地傳奇Henri Jayer 侄子Gilles Jayer酒莊，因病痛及無後，2017年出售酒莊(2018年Gilles Jayer去世)，新莊主André Hoffmann更名為Hoffmann-Jayer，留有Jayer 名稱以示尊敬。

About the Winery:

老莊主 Robert Jayer 係布根地傳奇釀酒師Henri Jayer表兄弟，佢既葡萄酒係米芝蓮星級餐廳酒單上必定出現。Robert 曾拜師於 DRC 釀酒總管 Andre Noblet 之下，係DRC釀酒長達八年，因為這一層的關聯，酒廠唯一的一塊頂級葡萄園Echezeaux就係來自 DRC 的 Echezeaux 分割賣給他的一塊地。(DRC拎左呢個資金去買 La Tache )。Dessus 是 AOC Echezeaux 中條件最優秀的葡萄園，也因此 Jayer Gilles 的 Echezeaux 優異品質可媲美 DRC 的 Echezeaux。

Robert Jayer 和酒農的女兒 Gilles 女士結婚，結合兩家的葡萄園創立了 Jayer-Gilles 酒廠。現任莊主 Gilles Jayer 係 Robert 個仔，由於 Jayer 家族幾乎都生女孩陰盛陽衰，Gilles Jayer 是目前唯一還在釀酒的男丁，都係Jayer 家族「最後的一根香火」。
