An oaky style, whose cherry, earth, mineral and tobacco flavors are submerged for now. Supple and well-built, delivering a long, intense finish encased in chalky tannins. Best from 2022 through 2036.

Interestingly this is aromatically similar to the Cuvée Louis-Auguste though the earth character is more pronounced. That's where the similarity stops however as this is notably denser and more serious with its sleek and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent depth and persistence on the balanced and youthfully austere finale. This too is quite good and worth considering.
