Pungent nose of violets, amarena cherries, dried figs and lightly charred oak. Some toffee notes emerge with air, together with more pressed flowers. Not so much full-bodied as full-flavored, with silky, fine and polished tannins. Very young and driven at the moment. Lacks the depth and complexity of more fortunate vintages, but still shows exceptional quality. Try from 2024.

A compact, focused red, this presents pretty violet, medicinal herb and anise notes on the nose as it slowly expands -- flavors that are more subdued at first on the palate. This is supported by dense, plushly textured tannins, flavors of mulled cherry, dark chocolate and amaro, loamy earth and smoke that are slowly revealed, gaining momentum and lingering on the long finish. Give this some air or time in the glass to allow it to shine brightest. Corvina, Rondinella, Croatina and Oseleta. Best from 2024 through 2032.

Dal Forno Romano酒莊1983年才開始釀酒,之後迅速走紅，憑藉平均樹齡才18年的葡萄園，釀出了世界上最昂貴的Amarone。它的品質必卓越，才可以保佑其在萬難間屹立不倒，與王者Quintarelli並駕齊驅。

目前酒莊的主要酒款包括Valpolicella Superiore和 Amarone della Valpolicella。在世人皆以Amarone馬首是瞻的時代，有時倒覺得 Romano對素來被人輕視的 Valpolicella之詮釋才是他登上職業頂峰的關鍵所在。

正如Parker 所言，酒莊的種植每公頃將近12800株葡萄藤，如手術室一般的精準。有了高密度，才能在單株產量壓得極低的情況下，仍舊保持合理的收成。行業常規是一株一瓶, 而在Dal Forno卻是6-7株釀一瓶Valpolicella。

與名莊Zenato一樣，Romano對低出汁率小眾品種Oseleta情有獨鍾，甚至在混釀中降低Rondinella的比例來給Oseleta發揮，以期從小果多酚的葡萄上獲得更優的酸度、色澤及力量。
